Dorothy J. Frank 82 of Erie, MI, died Monday, July 11, 2016, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Born December 18, 1933, in Wilksbare, Pa, she was the daughter of Stanley and Catherine Wikarski. She married Richard “Dick” Frank on February 11, 1956 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Toledo. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2002. She retired as a billing clerk for Romanoff Electric in Toledo after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, MI. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her loving children, Carol (Ron) Hornsby, Richard (Diane) Frank, Michael (Linda) Frank, Mary (Denny) Whiting and Susan (Mark) Bodnar; brother, Joseph Wilkarski; sisters, Marcella Gecik and Irene Robbins; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marie Sladinski.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will 11:00 am, Thursday, July 14, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2214 Manhattan Street, Erie, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Burial will be private.
